OLSA: Back after the Christmas break

Looking forward to presenting both prints and luxury fabric goods at St Michael’s Parish Church in Bishops Stortford on Saturday 30th January. This will be another chance to highlight the many beautiful fabrics that are around that are wasted unless we take action to find new uses. Not hard when wool, silk and cotton are so very beautiful both to handle and to have around.

The weather here has been a little dismal with few bright frosty day that can be one of the joys of January.  Of course,  the rain has been far gentler here than in the NW where many have been flooded, so no complaints there. I am already looking forward to May –  starting the preparations for the exhibition at Saffron Walden library at which I will show prints inspired by walking part of the Camino de Santiago.  Pilgrimage is an ancient tradition – perhaps more closely bound up with commercial and financial considerations than we choose to think. That does not detract from the spiritual for me.
